FINE JEWELRY MADE TO BE WORN
A 5 carat Number 8 Mine turquoise from the Karl Lee gem collection — old stock, pre-1950s, from a mine that no longer exists. The stone is sky blue with golden spiderweb matrix, the kind of material that becomes harder to find every year. Set in a 22 karat gold bezel on a platinum 950 base and band, with two 2mm brilliant white diamonds placed with restraint. The platinum isn't a decorative choice — against this stone, its cool neutrality lets the turquoise read at full strength.
Hand forged. Every surface finished by hand in the studio.

A 6 carat oval rubellite cabochon — untreated, unhurried. The color runs deep pink into red depending on the light, and the stone carries the kind of inner glow that only a cabochon cut can surface. We set it in a 22 karat gold bezel, a choice that isn't decorative but intentional: the higher karat enriches the stone's saturation in a way that lower gold simply doesn't. The base and band are 18 karat, hand fabricated, finished with a brushed surface that takes the flash out of the metal and puts the focus where it belongs.
Nothing here is cast. Every element was made by hand, which means the ring carries the evidence of that — subtle, honest, present. It's meant to be worn, not stored. The kind of object that becomes more itself over time.
