TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to Big Sur Goldsmiths, owned and operated by makers Carrie Armstrong and Ali Lee. By placing an order for products or services from this website, you accept and agree to these terms.

1. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Acceptance: All orders are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders at our discretion. You may cancel your order before you receive a shipping confirmation by contacting us.

Pricing: Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment in full is required before your order is accepted and processed.

2. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping: We ship all packages insured via USPS unless otherwise requested. Free shipping is included on US orders over $2,000.

International Orders: We ship internationally; however, the buyer is fully responsible for all customs duties and taxes applied to the shipment.

Delivery: A signature is required for all deliveries. Shipping dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to you once we transfer the items to the carrier.

3. Sizing, Repairs, and Authenticity

Sizing: Rings can often be sized up, and only very rarely down, due to the nature of the gemstones and the thick metal designs we use. If you need a size that is not in stock, please contact us about a custom order.

Authenticity: All Big Sur Goldsmiths pieces contain our maker's hallmark and ship with a sales receipt.

Repairs: For any repair inquiries, please contact us directly.

4. Returns and Refunds

Standard Returns: We accept returns on eligible items for a refund (less original shipping/handling costs) within fifteen (15) days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and accompanied by a sales receipt.

Non-Returnable Items: Custom and special orders are final sale. Items marked as non-returnable on the site are also final sale.

Return Process: Write to us at studio@bigsurgoldsmiths.com before shipping your product back, so we can expect it. You are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend insuring the return for the full value of the piece.

5. Limited Warranty

We stand behind our craftsmanship. We warrant that products purchased from our site will be free from defects in workmanship. Our responsibility for defective products is limited to repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Important: To preserve this limited warranty, only Big Sur Goldsmiths may resize, modify, or repair your item.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, unauthorized repair, or external accidents.

6. Governing Law

All matters relating to these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
