Shipping & Returns

Everything we sell is made by hand in our mountain studio in the USA, by Carrie Armstrong and Ali A Lee. Nothing is outsourced. Every piece is made by our own hands.

Custom pieces

We accept limited commissions, working only in high-karat gold, silver and platinum with select gemstones. Custom pieces ship within about 30 days. If you have an idea, write to us at studio@bigsurgoldsmiths.com and we'll tell you honestly whether it's something we can make.

How your piece travels

Every package is fully insured for the value of your piece. A signature is required on delivery, so please send it to an address where someone can receive it. We can't ship to P.O. boxes.

Returns

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery, as long as the piece is undamaged. Write to us at studio@bigsurgoldsmiths.com and we'll sort it out with you.

Ring sizes

Rings can often be sized up, and only very rarely down. If a ring isn't the right size, we'd much rather make you a similar piece in your size than force a ring that wasn't built for it. Each ring is formed and finished by hand, and we want it to fit and look the way it was meant to.
